![]() I personally dont like the stock beaver tail and dont like after market ones either. Nore can i see paying 20, or more, dollars for a beaver tail that i hardly ever use. Therefore why not make one yourself. You will need a drill press a piece of metal that is aproximatly 1/2 inch by 1/8 inch by 4 inches. Very simply measure and cut the piece to the needed length and bend it into the shape you would like. Next drill a hole in the one end that will be attaching to the gun make this hole slightly larger than the screw you plan to use. Now take a large drill bit and bevel the hole so that the screw will fit into it. If you use the washer included with the gun the screw will not be long enough. Place a washer between the gun and bevertail so that there is clearance for the back block. Next put on the beaver tail and make sure the gun works properly. If desired and i hope it is paint the beaver tail to the clolr you wish i choose chrome and it actually doesnt look bad. you have to take out the screw to advust the velocity anyway so there is no need for a hole in the back of the beaver tail. There you have it an in expensive beaver tail yes it is not pro but unless you are told to put one in during a tournament why use one at all.
