Sweet spotting a regulator
A very importnat part of any autococker and its performance is pressure.  A stock gun will work fine with its regulators left alone.  But who honestly is satisfied with fine.  I sure am not thats why i have spent hours adjusting the pressures of my gun and decided i would help you do it in minutes.  First thing if you have a vf cocker or someting with the stock reg and a sledgehammer front reg i have two words.  Replace them!!!  For info on regulators go to the review section.  The first reg you want to adjust is the inline regulator.

1. Unscrew the velocity adjuster until it is all the way backed out then turn it in about two full turns.
2. Air up the gun and chrono it.

3. Turn the pressure down first.  If you have an externally adjutable un this shouldnt be a problem.
If you have a stock reg then you have to take the reg off the gun and seperate it into two almost half pieces.  then there will be a screw to adjust with a flat head screw driver.  Clockwise is pressure decrease ans counter is pressure increase.  Put it back together and retry.  If you are too poor to but a new reg and sweet spot yours this way i feel for you i was there once too.

4. If the velocity increases then continue lowering and testing until the velocity stars to drop.  If the velocity decreases than try raising the pressure and seeing if the velocity is going up.

5. To make it easy on you keep adjusting until you get it so that if you adjust it up or down the velocity will still drop.

6. Now your gun will run at its most efficent level.  If you dont care about that and want low pressure than turn the pressure down lower.  I dont reccomend going any lower than 50psi under your efficent level.  I personally notice no differency with the efficent level and low pressure so my opinion is keep it efficent.

7. This last step is only for autocockers so if your doing this for any other gun stop.  Your last adjustment is the lpr.  Low Pressure Rgulator.  If you are shooting a stock vf then i wouldnt mess with it.  Like the stock inline reg it is hard to adjust.  To adjust it you must take if off the gun and put an allen wrenct in the back of it.  Again clockwise for pressure decrease counter for increase.  If you have an adjustable reg then this will be easy.
8. Turn it down as low as you possibly can.

9. Now turn it up slowly while dry fireing.  Continue this until the gun shoots well and consistantly.

10. Enjoy!  You are done and your gun should now run smoother using less air and with less kick or bounce.
